Swindon manager Maurice Malpas claimed "I could not have asked for more from my players" after his side drew 2-2 with high-flying Carlisle.Brave Swindon had stormed back from a goal down to lead, but Carlisle refused to give up.
With 10 minutes remaining, Carlisle made a rare excursion into the Swindon penalty area for a corner, taken on the right by Simon Hackney. Peter Murphy rose to meet it with a firm header from eight yards to keep alive Carlisle's promotion charge.
Malpas said: "The Carlisle equaliser near the end was a real kick in the teeth.
"We had a lot of territorial advantage, and plenty of chances, and I could not see how they were going to get it back.
"In the end, it was poor defending which allowed their defender to get in a good header, but I could not have asked for more from my players."
