Swansea manager Roberto Martinez admitted his title-chasing side were not good enough after they were swept away 4-2 at Northampton. Two goals from Poul Hubertz, one from Danny Jackman and an own-goal from Alan Tate saw that Jason Scotland's brace was merely a consolation and left Martinez unimpressed.
"We set high standards this season, but our first-half performance today wasn't good enough," he said.
"If we played like we did for the first 25 minutes, it doesn't matter who we play against we will get punished. We knew Northampton were a good side.
"We had a mountain to climb after going 3-0 down, but had we taken a good chance before half-time going in 2-3 down, we would have had a different approach in the second half.
"I know that's only one point out of nine, which isn't a good return, but the performances have been good. I was disappointed with how we played at the start of the game but happy with the way the players performed for the last hour."
