Walsall manager Richard Money was glad that his side stopped the rot after two straight defeats with a 1-1 draw at rivals Nottingham Forest.Forest hit the front in the 49th minute when Brett Ormerod fired in Nathan Tyson's cross, but six minutes later Walsall levelled with a goal that raised questions over Forest goalkeeper Paul Smith.
He allowed a deep cross from Edrissa Sonko to get beyond the far post and Tommy Mooney saw his header deflect into the net off defender Kelvin Wilson.
Money said: "We didn't want to make it three in a row. But I was always comfortable that we had it within us to come to a place like the City Ground and put in a performance like that.
"We defended superbly when we had to and our goalkeeper was very good.
"If we had just done a little bit better in certain situations there were times in the second half when I thought we could even have nicked it."
