Hamilton boss Billy Reid believes the Division One title race will go to the wire even after his side established a six-point lead at the top.Accies gave themselves breathing space after their 1-0 victory over second-placed Dundee at New Douglas Park.
But Reid knows Dundee are unlikely to surrender at this stage, having battled their way back into promotion contention.
Alex Rae's side have a game in hand, and they will also take on Hamilton at Dens Park on the final weekend of the SFL season.
James McArthur netted the close-range winner for Hamilton on Saturday, in front of a stadium-record ceowd of 5,078.
After beating Morton last week, and drawing with Dunfermline in midweek, another strong result delighted boss Reid.
He said: "It's been a big week for us because we've picked up seven points out of nine from two home games and one away.
"This was a big result in the title race but we still have to go to Dens Park so we can take nothing for granted."
Dundee striker Mickael Antoine-Curier faces a ban after his second-half dismissal.
Rocco Quinn scored twice for St Johnstone as Derek McInnes' side won 2-0 at Livingston, while at the foot of the table Stirling Albion held second-bottom Clyde 1-1.
Former Rangers midfielder Jorg Albertz, 37, blasted a stunning 35-yard opener on his debut for Clyde, and boss John Brown said: "I can't remember seeing as good a strike as that."
Second Division leaders Ross County went 12 points clear of nearest rivals Airdrie by winning 2-0 at Ayr - just four days after losing 4-2 at home to the same opponents.
Andy Barrowman and Michael Gardyne scored in the second half as County closed in on promotion with seven games remaining.
Airdrie slipped up against third-placed Raith, losing 1-0 at Stark's Park, and boss Kenny Black said: "To sum up the 90 minutes, I didn't think we did anything to take anything from the game.
"I thought we were poor throughout."
East Fife won the first league silverware of the season when they clinched the Third Division title, winning 3-0 at bottom-of-the-pile East Stirlingshire.
They opened up a 24-point lead at the top of the table, having won 24 of their 30 league games this season.
Manager Dave Baikie has relished working for the ambitious club, who will set their sights on another promotion next season.
Baikie intends to strengthen his squad in the summer, but told BBC Radio Scotland: "We'll enjoy this. Obviously we've got half a dozen games to go and we want to win every one of them.
"We'll look at it and see how many players we want to bring in. I don't think there'll be an awful lot, four or five."
