Scunthorpe defender Cliff Byrne believes the Iron have benefited in recent weeks from playing with a settled back four.Byrne, who recently returned from a two-month absence due to a leg injury, has formed a solid unit alongside Andy Butler, Izzy Iriekpen and Marcus Williams.
Byrne told the club's official website: "There has been a little bit of continuity there in recent weeks.
"Obviously, it has kept changing throughout the season because of injuries and suspensions.
"It is a squad game though and the lads that have come in have been terrific at whatever stage of the season.
"But, as it stands at the moment, it is us four there and I believe we are coping quite well."
