Striker Nicky Forster is on course to spearhead the Brighton attack when Hartlepool United visit the Withdean on Saturday. The 34-year-old, who has hit 19 goals for the Seagulls this season, missed last weekend's 2-1 win at Luton after damaging his knee ligaments, but is aiming to be fit for the Seagulls' final push for the play-off places.
"I'm stepping up my training and I should be back fully involved either on Thursday or Friday," he told the Argus.
"I just tweaked the medial ligament in my right knee last Friday. We had a little five-a-side right at the end of the session and that was when it happened.
"We have got three games left and, with a bit of luck, I'll be fit for them. If I can get to the 20-goal mark this season I'll be delighted. I would have taken at that at the beginning of the season."
On-loan left-back Matt Richards could also figure at the weekend having returned from Ipswich, where he has been receiving treatment on a hamstring injury.
