Stockport boss Jim Gannon has called on County's fans to get behind his side as they chase the final League Two automatic promotion spot.A brilliant run of nine victories out of their last 10 games has put Gannon's side firmly in contention for a place in the top three.
And with County hosting newly-promoted MK Dons on Saturday and Hereford - who lie one point ahead in third - facing Peterborough, Gannon knows this weekend could prove pivotal in the promotion race.
"Each week the games seem to be getting bigger and bigger, and again this is a huge game on Saturday," Gannon told the Stockport Express.
"It is building up to be the biggest game of the season against the best opposition.
"The lads are on a fantastic journey and the fans are loving it, the players are loving it, so we're expecting another big crowd on Saturday. Hopefully everyone can continue their support and we will be in for another enjoyable day."
