Crewe manager Steve Holland has revealed he is already preparing for next season even though his side's League One safety is far from certain. The Railwaymen are just three points above the relegation zone with three games remaining and host fellow strugglers Cheltenham on Saturday.
However, Holland has begun making plans for next campaign with the aid of technical director Dario Gradi and head scout Glyn Chamberlain.
"We certainly know who we'd like to bring in as far as what we will need and we have been watching those players for a good few weeks now," Holland told the Sentinel.
"Dario has played a big part in that, along with Glyn, and it is a real advantage to have someone such as Dario out there watching players.
"We are well prepared in terms of where we are heading, but whether we get the ones we want remains to be seen."
