Jamie McAllister has added to Bristol City's injury concerns ahead of their crucial away clash at automatic promotion rivals Stoke.The left-back is struggling to overcome the hamstring problem he suffered during the closing stages of the goalless draw against Wolves at the weekend.

Midfield lynchpin Lee Johnson is already a major doubt for the televised clash at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday evening.

"It is a strain, but it is still too early to say how bad it is. We will monitor his situation as the week wears on before making any decision," said Robins boss Gary Johnson.

"It is something we could do without ahead of such a big game, but we have decent cover in that position and I know Liam Fontaine can do a job for us."
