Huddersfield caretaker boss Gerry Murphy feels the club could "take off" if the right man is found to replace departed manager Andy Ritchie.Murphy, placed in temporary charge of the first team when Ritchie departed by mutual consent at the start of the month, said the new manager will inherit "some great players".
Murphy, who steered his side to a 1-0 win over West Yorkshire rivals Leeds, said: "The managerial position is a big one here, as the club is ready to take off.
"We need someone with passion for the club with a great work ethic, who is prepared to get stuck in.
"But we have some great players here. I've known a lot of them as they came into the academy at the age of eight.
"They know how I work, so we have a good bond. That makes life a little bit easier."
