Hartlepool skipper Ryan Nelson has stressed the season is far from over for Danny Wilson's side despite being destined for a mid-table finish.Pools are 14th in League One and will not be involved in any promotion or relegation matters, but Nelson believes the incentive to secure their first league win in four matches at Brighton on Sunday should prove enough motivation for his teammates.
"It's just about trying to finish as strongly as we possible can now and trying to get our own personal form going so that we're in good spirits come the start of next season," Nelson told the club's official website.
"It's nice that we're playing against teams who are going for promotion as that puts a little bit of an edge on the game and we can go and try and pick them off and get some points on the board."
