Roberto Martinez is set to be offered a new contract at the Liberty Stadium after leading Swansea to promotion to the Championship this season.The Swans finally confirmed their promotion with victory at Gillingham last Saturday - just 14 months after Martinez took over the reigns.
And the Welsh club are set to reward the Spaniard for his achievements by handing him an improved deal.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins told the Evening Post: "Naturally we want to reward Roberto for the job he's done and to make sure that he is with us for a long time to come.
"When you make decisions in football they often don't work out, but we always felt Roberto was the right man to come in when Kenny left."
