Bayern Munich welcome back Franck Ribery for their clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The French international has recovered from a foot injury which meant he missed the weekend's 5-0 stroll over Dortmund.
Ribery suffered the injury in last week's UEFA Cup quarter-final triumph over Spanish outfit Getafe.
But Bayern skipper and keeper Oliver Kahn will miss the Frankfurt outing with a shoulder complaint with Michael Rensing deputising.
Rensing has yet to taste defeat in 19 appearances with Bayern, ten points clear in the Bundesliga.
In other action on Wednesday, Raphael Schafer could return in goal for Stuttgart when they host his former club Nurnberg.
Peer Kluge (back), Glauber (groin) and Dominik Reinhardt (thigh) are missing for the hosts, with Thomas Hitzlsperger (knee) the sole man on Stuttgart's injured list.
Maik Franz and Michael Mutzel (both thigh) are unavailable for Karlsruhe's game with Duisberg, who themselves are without Iulian Filipescu, Manasseh Ishiaku (both thigh) and Mihai Tararache (suspended).
Dortmund coach Thomas Doll is set to recall Giovanni Federico for the game with Hannover and keeper Marc Ziegler will keep his place after Roman Weidenfeller's comeback from shoulder surgery was curtailed by a knee injury that will keep him out for the remainder of the season. Tinga is suspended.
Hannover will be missing Sergio Pinto (suspended), Arnold Bruggink, Thomas Brdaric, Chavdar Yankov (all knee), Michael Tarnat (thigh) and Jan Rosenthal (pelvic injury).
Leverkusen defender Karim Haggui returns from a one-game suspension against Arminia, while Bernd Schneider remains hindered by a toe injury.
Markus Bollmann (suspension), Ioannis Masmanidis, Mathias Langkamp (both ankle) and Tobias Rau (knee) are out for Arminia.
