La Liga - De Biasi leaves Levante

Gianni De Biasi has quit Levante and returned to Torino.

Levante, who have been hit by serious financial problems that led to the non-payment of players and staff earlier in the season, are bottom of La Liga, the position they occupied when De Biasi took charge last October.

They announced that they had appointed Jose Angel Moreno, the technical director of the club's youth team, as coach until the end of the season.

Levante, who are seven points adrift of Real Murcia, could be relegated this weekend.
