UEFA Cup - PSG cut costs in Ukraine

Paris St Germain coach Paul Le Guen confirmed the team landed in Ukraine for their UEFA Cup quarter-final return leg against Dynamo Kiev just one day before the match, partly to keep costs down.

"First, there are sports reasons. I don't like to arrive three or four days before the game. But there are also economic considerations, a full board accommodation costs 450 euros per player. We also think about that, it's obvious," Le Guen told French sports daily L'Equipe.

PSG, who drew 0-0 at home in the first leg last week, play Ukrainian league leaders Dynamo Kiev at 17:30 British time on Thursday.

The French side currently lie sixth in the Ligue 1 table six points behind leaders Marseille
