QPR striker Patrick Agyemang has backed new manager Iain Dowie to be a huge success following his appointment at Loftus Road.Dowie was this week appointed as Luigi De Canio's successor and given the task of masterminding the wealthy club's push for promotion to the Premier League.
Agyemang feels Dowie is the right man for the job and is relishing the opportunity to work under the former Crystal Palace and Coventry chief.
"I was surprised when I heard Luigi De Canio had left but Iain Dowie is a good manager to come in," Agyemang told the club's official website.
"He has had success in the Championship before, and he knows how to get out of this league.
"A couple of the boys here know him from previous clubs and speak very highly of him. He knows how to bring the best out of his players and hopefully he can do that here with all of us."
