Gannon to check on Blizzard

Fri 16 May, 02:45 PM

Stockport boss Jim Gannon will check on the fitness of Dominic Blizzard ahead of the second leg of the play-off semi-final at home to Wycombe. The former Watford midfielder sustained a calf strain during last weekend's first leg at Adams Park, which saw County claim a late equaliser to draw 1-1.

He was forced off at half-time and replaced by Stephen Gleeson, who could now earn a starting berth after scoring his side's equalising goal.

Defender Michael Raynes will definitely play no part as he was forced off after just 14 minutes last weekend and should be replaced in the starting line-up by Jim McNulty.

Leading scorer Liam Dickinson, who has scored 19 goals this season, is fit for action but defender Rob Clare (shin) and striker Matty McNeil (knee) remain sidelined.
