Burnley face an opening-day trip to Roses rivals Sheffield Wednesday when the new Championship season kicks off on August 9.The Clarets then host Ipswich the following week before an away match at Crystal Palace and another home game against Plymouth.

They face two early-season Lancashire derbies - at home to Blackpool on September 16 and again at home to Preston on September 27.

Owen Coyle's men end their campaign with a home match against Bristol City on May 3.
