MK Dons chairman Pete Winkelman admits that the opening-day clash with Leicester is barely believable after City's pursuit of boss Paul Ince.The Dons denied the Foxes permission to speak to Ince abut the vacancy at the Walkers Stadium last week and the clubs will meet on August 9 to kick-off the new League One season.

Winkelman told Sky Sports News: "I don't think you could write it in a book that we are going to Leicester on the opening day but it's a fantastic game for us.

"Leicester did everything the right way. They approached us but we kept Paul here and we are now looking forward to playing them."
