Plymouth will kick off the new season with a home game against Wolves - the side that beat them on the final day of last term - on August 9.They then travel to recently-relegated Reading a week later before welcoming League One champions Swansea to Home Park on August 23.
The first month of the season ends with a trip to face Burnley, while the trip to Bristol City takes place on September 30.
Paul Sturrock's former club Southampton are the visitors on Boxing Day, with a trip to face Cardiff coming two days later.
Argyle host Coventry on Easter Saturday before travelling to the Midlands to face Birmingham on Easter Monday and the season ends at Home Park with a visit from Barnsley.
