Wolves face the long trip to Plymouth on the opening day of the Championship season on Saturday, August 9.Mick McCarthy's men - who defeated Argyle at Home Park on the last day of last season - will then face a home tie a week later against Sheffield Wednesday.

Other key encounters see Wolves entertain Coventry at home on October 18 and then Birmingham, again at Molineux, on November 29 before a tough Boxing Day home encounter against Sheffield United.

Wolves will bring the curtain down on their season at home to Doncaster on May 3.
