Sunderland will begin the new season with a home game against Liverpool at the Stadium of Light on Saturday August 16.A trip to Spurs follows a week later on August 23 while the opening month of the season ends with a home clash against Manchester City.
Middlesbrough visit on September 20, but the main derby game for Black Cats fans occurs just over a month later with Newcastle visiting on October 25.
Christmas sees a home game with Blackburn on Boxing Day followed by a trip to Everton - where the Black Cats lost 7-1 last season - two days later.
The return clashes with north east rivals Boro and Newcastle both take place in January - the trip to the Riverside on Janaury 10 and the St James' Park clash three weeks later.
The final month of the season kicks off with the visit of Everton on May 2 and trips to Bolton and Portsmouth then follow before the season comes to a close with a home clash against Chelsea.

come on the pool i think its fair 2 say its 3pts in the bag....
Least it'll be a nice win for the first game. No disrespect to the Sunderland chaps but they are a team where you can get a result without worrying.
