Ronnie Moore's Tranmere Rovers side will kick off their 2008/09 League One campaign with a trip to Swindon on Saturday, August 9.Rovers face Hartlepool at home the following week before travelling to Leicester on Saturday, August 23 and also hosting Northampton in a busy opening month of the season.

On Boxing Day, Rovers travel to Hereford and host Walsall two days later.

The last day of the season sees Rovers travel to newly-relegated Scunthorpe on Saturday, May 2.
