Jim Magilton's Ipswich side will begin their Championship campaign at home to Preston on Saturday, August 9.A tough opening month for the Tractor Boys sees them then take on Burnley, Wolves and Watford as they seek a solid start to a promotion challenge.

The first East Anglian derby of the season comes at Carrow Road on December 6, with Glenn Roeder bringing his Norwich side to Portman Road on April 18.

Ipswich will end their campaign at home against Coventry on May 3.
