Dons Test Awaits Foxes

Leicester host League One new boys MK Dons on the opening day of the 2008/09 season, while Leeds travel to Scunthorpe.

The managerless Foxes - in the third tier for the first time in their history - welcome MK Dons to the Walkers Stadium, with the Dons having rejected Leicester's approach to speak to manager Paul Ince last week.

Beaten play-off finalists Leeds begin their campaign at relegated Scunthorpe, Colchester kick off at Hartlepool and the three teams also promoted alongside MK Dons all travel - Peterborough to Southend, Hereford to Leyton Orient and play-off winners Stockport face Huddersfield.
