goes to show fist pumping antics and dramatics ala nadal doesnt necessarily guarantee success. or have all spainiards run out of the cocktail?
Verdasco won the Davis Cup and that boosted his self-confidence, allowing him to have a few good matches. But it seems that this lucky streak is running out and he'll probably go back to 15th or 16th very soon. On the contrary Del Potro is getting better and better. If he had not buckled under pressure in the fifth set he might have beaten Federer at Roland Garros. He is still young, I predict he'll go far, maybe even to number 4 very soon.
Simon Reed thinks Verdasco is better than del Potro. Ha, ha.
