Brentford have been drawn at home to Championship side Bristol City in the first round of this season's Carling Cup.
Andy Scott's side, who won the League Two title last term, will welcome the Robins to Griffin Park on Tuesday, August 11.
The teams met at the same stage of the competition two seasons ago, when Gary Johnson's men ran out 3-0 winners in west London.
