Boss bemoans away day

Stuart McCall has bemoaned his side's luck after being handed another away tie in the first round of the Carling Cup.

The Bantams' trip to Nottingham Forest is the fifth successive year the club has been drawn away from home in round one of the competition and the third under manager McCall.

McCall told the club's official website: "It's a tough draw, there's no getting away from it. This cup seems to keep giving us tricky away draws, but we shall go there with positive intent.

"It would have been nicer to be at home. You look at Bury at home to West Brom, Rotherham at home to Derby and you think it would have been nice to get Forest down here.

"But Forest is a great place to play your football and we'll go there to get a good result to take on for the rest of the season."
