Ricardo Carvalho has accused Chelsea of neglecting him when he was injured and says he would welcome a move to Inter Milan.
The Portugal defender is wanted by the Serie A champions, where his former boss Jose Mourinho is in charge. The 31-year-old endured a frustrating campaign last season and injuries limited him to 18 appearances as the Blues finished third in the Premier League and won the FA Cup.
"I've been at Chelsea for five years, and four of them were very good, but this last season I spent a lot of time out injured," he said in the Daily Star.
"This last year I was injured a lot. I wasn't happy and Chelsea can't have been happy with my contribution.
"Furthermore, when I was injured the club should have given me more support. They should have helped me more, especially given my past four years at Chelsea.
"Their attitude disappointed me a little. I believe my time at Chelsea has come to an end and I'm very happy a big club like Inter are interested in me.
"It's a new challenge and I'd like to play in Italy."
Of former coach Mourinho, Carvalho added: "Mourinho's a coach who knows me better than anybody.
"Together we won big trophies. He's an ambitious coach and a perfectionist.
"Let's see if the clubs can reach an agreement. I'd love to work with Jose Mourinho again."

We all Chelsea fan knows that Carvalho is greet and excellent player of which we all respect and appreciate for job well done. but I think is time to allowed him move on to another club if they can be able to meet up with the Chelsea requested amount. This can be used in purchasing order younger and talented player out there. This 2010 will be greet year for all Chelsea’s both club and fans, up up Chelsea.
Accept the fact that newspapers/tv/blogs can put whatever spin they want on seemingly innocent comments so I tend to treat them with a pinch of salt - however Jose has made it clear he wants Ricky and the waste of space Deco in Italy - Carvalho knows he is probably down to no.2 in the pecking order to Alex and at his age fancies another payday so of he has turned into a moaner then let him go so long as the cash is right - too many times Chelsea have offloaded for the sake of it with little or no compensation - let the 2 of them join Jose and the joint fee will go a long way to signing a top class player
I understand what Carvalho is saying, if John Terry was in his condition, the club would have done more, it is time to move on, am sure Chelsea will miss you, because he made the last real tropheis possible. Lets hope chelsea can win anything this season, because the management seems very confused at the moment.
Carvalho comments look like child's comments. What kind of support he wants more when he is injured??
I believe his medical treatment and facilities were excellent. He was paid about or more than USD half a million a month net during his injury time.
I am sure most of people would absolutely love to have a year like Carvalho's past year. We would become multi millionaires for doing not much. :)
Come to Arsenal. work better with Gallas.......
Carvalho has been excellent for Chelsea and should be persuaded to stay.....
...but if he is so ungrateful to Chelsea for all theyve done for him......then he should 'F**K' off and go to that Portugese prat and disappear off the face of the earth
better still.......Chelsea should keep him and play him in the reserves until he's finished.
How ungrateful Carvalho....
yeah right....thats an excuse for him to leave,.....iam a blur fan but iwont be sad if he leaves,,,,
Alex is better ; )
