Watford will make the short trip to Barnet in the first round of this season's Carling Cup.
New boss Malky Mackay will take his side to Underhill during the week commencing August 10 in what will be one of his first games in charge of the Hornets.
Watford beat Premier League West Ham on their way to last season's quarter-finals, where they were knocked out by eventual runners-up Tottenham.
