Leeds friendly cancelled

Tue 16 Jun, 04:02 PM

Leeds have cancelled their pre-season friendly with Darlington after being drawn to play the Quakers in the first round of the Carling Cup.

Simon Grayson's side were scheduled to take on the League Two side at the Darlington Arena on July 21, but after being paired against each other in Tuesday's cup draw during the week commencing August 10, the two sides will scrap the friendly.

Leeds already have another pre-season friendly scheduled for July 21 against non-League Wealdstone.
