Mourinho: Chelsea must decide on duo

Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho remains coy over the possible arrivals of Chelsea pair Deco and Ricardo Carvalho to the San Siro this summer.

The Italian champions are lining up a move to bring the Portuguese duo to Inter, but former Stamford Bridge boss Mourinho admits the situation is out of his hands.

"They are Chelsea players," he said. "I don't like to talk about other clubs' players. They used to be my players and it would be a pleasure to have them again in the future. But it is Chelsea that must decide what to do."

Mourinho is familiar with centre-back Carvalho and midfielder Deco having coached both players at Porto.

Carvalho, who moved to Chelsea in 2004 to work again under Mourinho, endured a frustrating campaign with his appearances for the Blues limited by injury.

Deco joined Chelsea from Barcelona in summer 2008 but also suffered injuries, making just 22 league appearances last season.

  1. He can have Deco, his been so inconsistent this season,­ rarely shines, Carvalho on the other hand is a great­ player nd jus becaus his had a bad (injury plagued)­ season he wants to leave. I just don't get it. If­ we sell we need bloody good replacements.

  8. u r all wrong. they should swop both of them for­ ibrahimovich. and forget ribery, silva , aguero and­ definetly robben, i doubt they will come. But i really­ hope they do sign tevez, sjnider or van der vaart

Let them both go - pity about Ricky but he is getting­ on a bit too now - as for Deco he is a one trick pony­ who played 2 good games last season and after the first­ hard tackle didn't want to know - as for #1 Robben­ had his chance and like a load of others made his dosh­ and cleared off - good riddance. We still need another­ winger tho as width is the major problem and who knows­ when Joe will be fit again.

    chelsea must sell in high­ price to this player......
    and chelsea must take back­ robben.n buy david silva,pato,aguero,ribery,n­ tevez.this player can help chelsea to season­ 2010...
