Sheffield Wednesday have been handed a home tie against Rochdale in the first round of the Carling Cup.
The Owls were dumped out at the first hurdle last season by local rivals Rotherham, who triumphed on penalties at Hillsborough after the score finished 2-2 after extra time.
The tie is scheduled to be played during the week commencing on August 10.

Can we have a cup run for once?
the league season looks truly promising for the the first time since 04/05, so let's see if we can generate a little extra cash for our play-off push with a nice little run to the quarters!
