Lincoln will host Barnsley in the Carling Cup first round.

The tie will take place at Sincil Bank the week commencing August 10.

The Imps were within seven minutes of knocking out Championship club Derby at this stage of the competition last season.

Ben Wright gave Lincoln the lead early in the second half at Pride Park before Nathan Ellington equalised after 83 minutes. Ellington then went on to complete a hat-trick in extra-time to give Derby a 3-1 win.
