Simon Grayson has revealed that he is hopeful of bringing in some more additions to his Blackpool squad in the "next few days".Blackpool concluded their pre-season tour of Latvia with a 4-0 defeat to Skonto Riga and continue their preparations for the new Championship season at Wrexham on Saturday.

Grayson used the games in Latvia to look at two trialists and will make a decision whether or not to pursue the duo this week.

"It's one of them where we'll have to look at it. They're the sort of players who have not played a lot of football recently, not trained with us much and they've taken part in two games so it's difficult for them," he told the club's official website.

"We'll assess the situation and see where we need to strengthen.

"As a club and staff we all realise we need some new players and hopefully we'll get a few in the next few days."
