Striker Clinton Morrison could be on the verge of signing for Coventry after joining the Sky Blues for their pre-season tour of Switzerland.The 29-year-old is a free agent after turning down a new deal with Crystal Palace this summer.
"Clinton is a free agent and we are having a good look at him and he's having a look at us. There is no commitment from either side," City boss Chris Coleman told the club's official website.
"He'll use his time with us to maintain his fitness and sharpness."
Morrison could be involved in Coventry's pre-season friendly against FC Brasov.

This can only be good news for Coventry City fans. Morrison is a proven goalscorer and is wanted by other clubs in the Championship, so for him to come to Coventry is a big boost for players and fans alike. Finally, we could see Coventry back in the Premiership (their spiritual home after being there for so long before relegation) - here's hoping!
