Fiorentina have announced that they are evaluating an offer from Norwich for highly-rated young Italian forward Arturo Lupoli.The 21-year-old Lupoli, who is under contract with the Viola until June 2012, could return to England after spells with Arsenal and Derby County.

Lupoli has yet to make his debut with the Viola having played on loan at Treviso last season and the Florence-based outfit are only willing to see the player leave on a loan deal this summer.

"Fiorentina announces it has received an offer from English club Norwich City Football Club for the permanent transfer of striker Arturo Lupoli," read the club statement.

"Fiorentina would be willing to transfer the player on a temporary basis.

"The negotiations will continue in the coming days."
