Sun Jihai will make his first appearance for Sheffield United in their friendly against KVK Tienen on Wednesday night.The China international, a free signing from Manchester City, sat out the 3-2 win over Ferencvaros in Budapest, but will play against the Belgian second division side. David Carney, David Cotterill and Ian Bennett will also feature.

Blackwell said: "The four players who did not feature against Ferencvaros will be involved in Belgium, and that includes Sun Jihai.

"Sun's versatility gives us options in terms of playing players in different positions and formations.

"He has done well in training and I'm looking forward to seeing him gel with the lads on the pitch."
