Wed 16 Jul, 04:09 PM

Alexander Hleb admits he will fulfil a dream if he completes his switch from Arsenal to Barcelona.

Hleb is currently in Barcelona undergoing medical tests and if all goes well he could be unveiled as the Catalan club's fifth signing of the summer later on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old Belarus international, who according to reports in Spain will cost Barca around 15 million euros, has already spoken to the Barcelona website about his prospective move.

"It is a dream. I love this team. I will give my best," said Hleb on Barcelona's official website.

"I have spoken with (Barcelona coach Pep) Guardiola and for me it is very important that he wants me and I will give my best for the team and I want to win everything with Barca."

The versatile midfielder was also asked about what his main attributes and qualities as a player were, but Hleb admits he prefers to do his talking on the pitch.

"I don't want to talk about me. I am going to give my best on the pitch, but it is better that the fans and the coach talk about me," he added.

If all goes to plan, Hleb will join Seydou Keita, Gerard Pique, Martin Caceres and Daniel Alves as the new faces at the Nou Camp this summer.
