Boss Gary Johnson was pleased with a point after his Bristol City side held Swansea to a goalless draw at the Liberty Stadium.

Johnson was without in-form striker Nicky Maynard and goalkeeper Dean Gerken due to illness and Louis Carey due to a knee injury, but the Robins held their own and almost won it in the third minute of injury time when Cole Skuse was denied by Swans goalkeeper Dorus De Vries from point-blank range.

Johnson said: "I am very proud of my players because they all worked their socks off. I am very happy with a point and we could have snatched the victory right at the end."

He added: "It is a squad game now and we have had to make full use of all our players as we have had several going down with a virus.

"Nicky Maynard had to be taken out of the starting line-up after reporting in unwell on the morning of the game."
