Zlatan Ibrahimovic had an angry row with Milan great Arrigo Sacchi live on television after the Rossoneri’s Champions League win over Auxerre.

The Sweden striker, who joined Milan at the end of the transfer window, scored both goals in his side’s 2-0 victory at the San Siro.

But afterwards he became embroiled in a heated discussion with the former Milan manager on the Mediaset Premium TV show.

Ibrahimovic, who formerly played for city rivals Internazionale, took exception when Sacchi joked that he would not have scored his first goal if he did not have such big feet.

"Sacchi needs to learn how to shut up," Ibrahimovic fumed. "He seems jealous because he talks too much.

"He needs to talk less about me on TV and in the newspapers. If he wants something he can come and see me about it. If you don't like the way I play, don't come and watch me.

"He also said things about me when I was at Barcelona."

Sacchi, who was a guest on the show, attempted to defend himself, insisting he had the right to "express my opinion in a polite manner".

Ibrahimovic continued his rant and Sacchi, 64, concluded by saying: "Learn some manners, son."

  2. ibra definitely seems a little odd...why does he­ address people (including himself, as i've heard in­ other interviews) in the third person? but that aside,­ i think sacchi has a point, which is that ibra benefits­ from his size and tends to be a bit lazy about making­ runs or going after balls. i'm a huge barça fan and­ a little worried about losing ibra for the extra­ dimension he brings to an attack, and would've­ loved to see a messi-villa-ibra trifecta at least once,­ but i also understand the decision to let him go given­ how many guys they have, how much he costs, and his­ personality.

    He took Sacchi's "joke" in­ another direction were etiquette is supposed to take­ it. So what, what do we know. Looks to me there is an­ old feud between the two, if you people can be so sure­ that Sacchi never put ibra down: congrats.   19. This man is overrated, obnoxious and an utter tool. I­ saw him last night against Auxerre. He scored two goals­ against a mediocre outfit and thinks hes the messiah­ judging from his goal celebration,,or lack of one. At­ least when Thierry Henry adopted the 'cocky'­ celebration it made sense as he was a GREAT player.
