Scotland coach Steve McCormack has called up Edinburgh Eagles duo Andy Todd and David Lynn from the Scotland A team for the full international against France in Perpignan on October 27.
McCormack is expected to rest leading players like Danny Brough and Andy Henderson ahead of the crucial World Cup qualifying match against Wales in Glasgow a week later and give opportunities to several of the uncapped players in his provisional 28-man squad.
Centre Todd, from Renfrewshire, has captained Scotland A this season and only missed out on a full cap last year through injury.
Second-rower Lynn, from Napier University, has been a stalwart for Scotland Students over recent seasons and stepped up to the A team last summer.
