Premier League - Hughes cool on Robinho move

Mark Hughes has played down speculation linking Robinho with Barcelona, with the Manchester City chief suggesting quotes attributed to the Brazilian had been lost in translation.
Robinho was quoted in the Spanish media on Thursday expressing his admiration for Barca and suggesting he would love to play alongside his fellow countryman Daniel Alves at Camp Nou.
The quotes filtered their way through to the back pages of a number of English tabloids on Friday, but Hughes is far from concerned about the talk of a January move for his Brazilian forward.
Hughes feels Robinho's quotes may have been misinterpreted, but was keen to stress that the forward also made complimentary noises about life at Eastlands.
"There is always speculation and noise surrounding Robi, that has been the case since he came to the club," said Hughes.
"What you are referring to is some comments that originated in the Spanish press and we do not know the context of the type of questions that were put to Robi to get the response they did.
"Sometimes you can get a collection of quotes that when you type them all up and put them together it looks like a story.
"If you read the vast majority of the quotes there are a lot of positive things as to how he feels about Manchester City and what is ahead of us here.
"He is a great guy and the only frustration he has at the moment is that he is not available for the team, but that will hopefully be resolved in the next week to 10 days and he will be back on a football field."
The Welshman had a recent meeting with the club's owners in Abu Dhabi and suggested there could be changes in January, but is not expecting mass movement of players.
Hughes has problems ahead of the weekend clash with Wigan Athletic, as Kolo Toure, Joleon Lescott, Martin Petrov, Nigel de Jong and Craig Bellamy are nursing niggles picked up during the international break.

I guess people should choose where they are happy.......useless to keep people who are not happy where they are.I guess people like changes at times.

let robinho go he doesn't want to play for man city that is why he is always injured or got a cold he would always be playing for barca
