SPL - Team news: Boyd in line for return

Kris Boyd is in contention for Rangers' SPL game against St Johnstone after making a quick recovery from an eye injury.

FOOTBALL Scottish Premier League Rangers defender Kirk Broadfoot, who will miss the start of next season after undergoing surgery on a foot injury - 0

The striker suffered a small fracture to his eye socket following a clash of heads during the Old Firm derby.

He was expected to be sidelined for several weeks but has declared himself fit for the visit to McDiarmid Park.

Long-term casualties Kirk Broadfoot and Maurice Edu remain on the sidelines.
