Swindon will be without Jonathan Douglas for the home clash against Hartlepool.
The midfielder was shown a straight red card during last weekend's 1-1 draw against Millwall which resulted in a three-match ban. But after Swindon's unsuccessful appeal to get the suspension overturned, Douglas' punishment was extended to four games.
That means either Michael Timlin or Craig Easton are likely to come into Danny Wilson's plans as he looks to extend the club's unbeaten run to 12 league games.
On-loan striker Tope Obadeyi comes back into contention after a hamstring injury and a virus, although having only completed a small amount of training it remains to be seen whether he possesses the required match fitness to start from the off.
Midfielder Alan O'Brien is hoping to return to action next week after a lengthy absence with a hamstring problem, while winger Lloyd Macklin remains sidelined with a fracture to his left leg.
