Walsall will be without Clayton McDonald for the home clash against Exeter.
The on-loan centre-back was forced out of last weekend's 1-0 defeat at MK Dons with a groin injury and, although the problem is not as bad as first feared, he will miss out against the Grecians at the Banks's Stadium.
Fellow defender Rhys Weston is also struggling with a slight hamstring strain and is rated at 50/50.
Full-back Richard Taundry (hamstring) and midfielder Richard Davies (ankle) both trained on Thursday and should be in contention for the first league meeting between the two sides in over 14 years.
Mark Bradley also returns to club duty having been called into Wales' senior squad in midweek, although the midfielder was on show at stadium:mk last weekend.
