Paul Parry is enjoying a new lease of life at Preston after being moved from left-wing to full-back.
The Wales international has been hampered by injuries since joining North End in 2009, but has been keeping recognised left-back Steven Smith out of the side this term.
Parry has started all-but three npower League One games in a defensive role this season and hopes he can continue to excel in the position.
"Left-back is a new role for me and I'm enjoying it. In the last two years I've been in and out of the team because of injuries, so it's nice to get a good run of games under my belt. I'll play anywhere I'm asked," he told the Lancashire Evening Post.
"This is my best run of games for a long while, probably in my whole time at Preston. I'm feeling good about myself and long may that continue.
"For a time I had a problem with tendonitis in my knee, but I seem to have come through that and hopefully now I'm totally over that. I feel the fittest I have done for a long while, certainly since coming here."
