Furious Barnet boss Paul Fairclough could not wait to tear into his players after they pressed the self-destruct button to lose 4-1 at Lincoln. The Bees' cause was not aided by the 56-minute dismissal of defender Joe O'Cearuill but two goals from Ben Wright as well as a penalty from Jamie Forrester and a Louis Dodds strike put Fairclough's men to the sword.
He said: "I am very angry. The effort, the passion, the commitment and the chances only came after we had a player sent off.
"We were then playing in an emotional state, it was not a technical state. In the first-half we were playing with the handbrake on. If we play like that we won't get anything.
"Then the handbrake was released and we had enough chances to be 4-3 up. I always thought we were going to get something from the game."
