Oldham Athletic goalkeeper Mark Crossley has been ruled out of action for two weeks after picking up a hamstring injury last week.The veteran shot-stopper missed the 2-2 draw at Peterborough after opening up a previous injury in training.

However, the injury is not serious and physio Marc Czuczman is hoping to have him back in action by the New Year.

Czuczman told the club's official website: "We were doing some circuit work and Mark hurt himself stretching to control the ball shortly afterwards.

"He opened up an old injury, but on first inspection it seems like there's only a grade one tear.

"We have started the hamstring protocols. Mark will probably be missing for another two weeks."
