Kati Wilhelm extended her lead at the top of the World Cup standings with her first victory of the season in the sprint in Antholz.
The 2006 overall champion shot clear and came home in 21:36.4, more than a minute quicker than Magaldena Neuner's World Championship winning time over the same course in February.
German compatriot Andrea Henkel was the runner-up, over 10 seconds back despite also hitting all ten targets, with emerging Russian Svetlana Sleptsova continuing her fine recent form in third.
Anna Carin Olofsson, Simone Denkinger and Ann Kristin Flatland also went clear and took the next three spots.
Martina Glagow, second at the start of the race in the overall standings, produced a slow first loop and then missed two targets in the prone resulting in a 20th place finish.
She now drops behind Sandrine Bailly, who was seventh after a miss at each visit to the range, while Neuner only hit seven targets and finished eighth.
